After eight seasons, Fox’s “24” is Coming to an End!

The Hollywood Reporter writes;

The groundbreaking action drama will air its final real-time episode in May, the victim of a confluence of circumstances: a swelling budget, declining ratings and creative fatigue.

Yet for fans of Jack Bauer, there remains hope. Studio 20th TV is developing a theatrical film that takes Bauer to Europe, and showrunner and executive producer Howard Gordon says other possibilities are being explored as well. ~ Read more at thrfeed.com

The News is Devastating! Well, at least for us '24' fans.
And while promises are made of a '24' movie, our souls are not comforted.

"What am I going to do on Monday nights???"
I mean, even my wife loved '24'. And would actually "Be Quite" while it was on. Now, even Monday nights are going to be hell.

Reactions posted at THR mimic the same. Jack Bauer is/was Our Hero. And we don't want to see him go. And what's all this "a swelling budget, declining ratings and creative fatigue" crap anyway. Sounds to me like "Bureaucrats" and "Government Involvement"! Makes me So Mad!

But, there you have it. '24', is No More.
