A long time ago (1993) in a garage, far, far away, three friends dusted off their boxes of Star Wars toys, and went to their first toy show. They had a great time trading, selling, and buying. In deed, they were hooked. And destined to become, Cosmic Collectibles!

As you can see by the pic above (taken from the Houston Comic-con), they now have Thousands of figures from Star Wars, to GI Joe, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Micronauts, Tron, Buck Rogers, Indiana Jones, Marx.

Ah, but there's a problem. "Space!"
No, not Outer space. Storage Space. And for that reason Cosmic Collectibles will be at the Dallas Comic-Con this weekend where you can Expect some Great Bulk Deals!

05/11/12 Due to recent changes in Val Kilmer’s schedule with his one-man show MARK TWAIN touring the country, Val is not longer available for DCC. Val hopes to attend our Oct 20-21 event.

05/05/12 Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, Stan Lee is only available to attend Saturday May 19th. To help us accommodate more fans, Stan will now also be signing autographs for fans Friday evening (5-7pm). Wear your Saturday or Sunday badge to gain entry into the lobby Friday evening. Don’t have your badge yet? Don’t worry, we will have the box office open Friday evening as well from 430-7pm.

Planning for the next Sci-Fi Expo at the new Irving Convention Center on February 11-12, 2012 is under way. Check out these confirmed media guests:



In addition to this great media lineup, are confirmed comic artists: Legendary Bill Sienkiewicz, fan favorite Joe Jusko, Mark Brooks, and more!

Exhibitor reservations are being taken now!

For this one event, the exhibitor room will be sub-divided to include a medium sized Q&A stage, as this event will only be held on the first floor. HU? Yeah, well. The promoters didn't realize at the time the space was reserved, that the Sci-Fi Expo might need an additional floor. So, this convention will have less exhibitor spaces than the last.

Also important for some, exhibitors at this February event will have first shot at the same space for our upcoming May Dallas Comic Con. So if your spot is important to you, don't miss this February event.

Exhibit Space at the Irving Center is sold by 8' tables. If you pay for your space in advance, one exhibit space is $185.00 if you pay in full. Or $200 if you choose to only make a $50 deposit. at their facility in their parking garage. These free parking spaces are limited.

Jr original 18x24 inch lithograph will be available starting at 9:30am Saturday

Autograph Tickets: Autograph tickets for Stan Lee, Leonard Nimoy, Tom Jane and Carrie
Fisher will be available in the main lobby starting at 9:30am Saturday.

Pre-Registered Guests: International customers and fans who purchased their advance
tickets at the Sci-Fi Expo in January may pickup their tickets at the "Pre-Registered
Guest Ticket Pickup" counter in the main lobby right inside the doors. All online
tickets orders have been shipped!

Photo Op Tickets: Customers who pre-purchased a photo op with Stan Lee or Leonard
Nimoy will have their name on the photographer's master list. You may visit their

May 5th Deadline Announced to Purchase Dallas Comic-Con Tickets Online!

Our online deadline to purchase your admission and autograph tickets in advance
is coming up soon. Place your orders online on or before May 5th, and we will mail
them to you!

Customers who pre-purchased VIP and Priority tickets will have their badges and
any autograph tickets mailed directly to you, so you will be able to walk right
into the convention once it's open. We will also mail the exclusive comic book to
VIP customers.

For customers who pre-order General Admission, we will mail you an admission ticket
(as well as any autograph tickets purchased) directly to you. You will then exchange
your admission ticket for a Saturday or Sunday badge at the event in the main lobby
on the day you choose to attend!

General Admission tickets available now, as well as Stan Lee, Carrie Fisher, and
Leonard Nimoy autograph tickets while supplies last. Grab yours today online!

After May 5th, we will no longer be taking online ticket orders, but you will still

Formerly Convention du Lac or Con. du Lac, the convention is Louisiana's premiere Comic Book and Popularized Culture Convention. In 2009 the convention launched as a Sci-Fi convention and was held at the Enos Derbonne Sports Complex in Lake Charles. 2010 brought about new growth and new opportuinties as the festival moved downtown to the Civic Center. 2011 we are back with vengence as a brand new convention offering the best in entertainment in the south.

After 2 successful Sci-Fi conventions in Southwest Louisiana, the board of directors decided to change the focus and broaden our potential to reach fans across the board. Attention Exhibitors,

We are happy to announce that the next Sci-Fi Expo will be held at the spacious Plano Center on January 29-30, 2011. Exhibitor reservations are being taken now and space is quickly filling!

Space at the Plano Center is sold by 8' tables.  One table is $185.00 and includes an 8'x30" table and two chairs. The approx square footage of this spot is 8'(wide) by 8' (deep) or 64sqft.

We also have a few endcaps ($395) and small press ($75) tables still available. Also, new for this show, if you pre-pay in full, you can save $20 per isle table, and $25 on an endcap!

Update: I have just been informed of

 LAST MINUTE ADDITIONS: Meet two of the stars of the new Robert Rodriguez movie MACHETE,
Greg Ingram and Billy Blair, and get a pass for two to see an advance screening
next Wednesday (passes distributed to those who request it at the front desk while
supplies last)!

The boys from the film will be signing mini-posters from MACHETE and taking photos
with fans from 11am to 3pm on Saturday.  Be sure to say hi!  Greg and Billy appear
courtesy of Bigfanboy.

Also just added, Lar Park Lincoln from FRIDAY THE 13th PART VII: THE NEW BLOOD,
and comic book colorist Anthony Tollin (CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS) will be appearing
at the show as well.  Lar is appearing Saturday Only.
